IDEA XC is a new impregnating sealer to protect stones against water, oil, grease and humidity giving an attractive wet-look effect; optimum also for polished materials. When applied, IDEA XC penetrates into the stone without forming unsightly plastic films. IDEA XC will make the stone supports water and oil repellent by penetrating deeply into the stone, protecting it from water and oily substances but allowing the stone to breath while the humidity can evaporate, therefore blocking efflorescence. The constant research for latest generation raw materials has permitted us to produce new water and oil repellent, which can enhance the colour of stone and at the same time, it can protect the same from stain caused by oil and other penetrating substances.
Method of use :Surface must be clean and dry; stains, mildew, crusting must be scraped off otherwise they will be harder to remove after protection. Application can be done by brush, by roller or by spray gun. It is suggested, when possible, to apply the product by brush because it allows the product to penetrate better into the stone. Application of IDEA XC by brush, making pressure, will facilitate penetration into frames and cavities. Continuously repeat the application, without interruption, until the stone has been saturated (the stone does not absorb further product). During the application and subsequent drying, the temperature of the substrate should be between 10 and 30 ° C. In case of application on floor with underfloor heating system turn off heating and allow the stone to cool completely.
